Specialist in Internal Medicine at the Sant Pau Hospital in Barcelona since 1998. She graduated from medical career at the Barcelona University in 2002. Since 1999, she has been working in the HIV Unit of the Germans Trials I Pujol Hospital in Barcelona where she is leading the research group focused on epidemiology, pathogenesis and treatment of different complications related to HIV and antiretrovirals. She is also an associate professor at Barcelona and Vic Universities.
