Elsa Quiñonero

Elsa Quiñonero Prieto Graduated in Psychology in 1990 from the Universitat Autonòma of Barcelona (UAB) Masters in Neuropsychology, Hospital del Mar in Barcelona 1992-1994 (UAB) Specialty in Clinical Psychology recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Health in 2003. Dr. Quiñonero has practical training of both specialties in hospitals of the Catalan Public Network: Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol: Psychiatry, Gerontology and Anesthesiology Units and Hospital de la Creu Roja, Neurology Unit and Hospital del Mar. She has various publications about major cognitive disorders after anesthesia in the context of international multicentric study, finnancied by Economic European Community. Also Studies in Mental Health ambit. In 2003, Dr. Quiñonero started working in Primary Mental Health ambit (CSMA Badalona) and since 2007 until now, she has been working in Hospital Benito Menni: Acut Unit Hospital, Primary Mental Health, Day Hospital Unit and in the Communitarian Rehabilitation Unit in Several Mental Disorders. For the last twelve years she has been combining the practical training of internal resident psychologists, General Sanitary Masters students and Psychology Degree Students. Dr. Quiñonero also has Primary Assistance Doctors formation, in the context of the Support Program to Primary Care.
