If I can’t attend, can I cancel my ticket, or give it to a colleague?2016-07-13T08:49:15+00:00

Should you wish to cancel your ticket please notify the Workshop Secretariat in advanced via email explaining the reasons as to why, otherwise a penalty will be incurred to the ticket holder preventing him/ her from attending any future workshops organised by us in the subsequent three years. On the other hand, if you wish to pass on your ticket to a substitute delegate an authorization letter from the original ticket holder should also be sent to the Workshop Secretariat.

Yes, although we strongly encourage you to. By submitting an abstract you encourage other attendees to discuss your research and therefore take full advantage of other participants expert views.

At the 2016 workshop, we will have dedicated refreshment and networking sessions on both days, for participants to meet and share ideas in a more informal manner.

Yes, to secure your accommodation it is important that you fully register for the Workshop and receive a confirmation email. The hotel room will be booked by the Workshop Secretariat and will be a hotel from one of the Room Mate chain ones. It will be centrally located in Barcelona, with easy access to public transport, shops and restaurants. The organisation reserves the right to accommodate participants in a different hotel/ hotel group given a last minute/ unforeseen/ unexpected occurrence/ setback.

Yes, we are providing full participation grants that cover registration fee, travel and accommodation in Barcelona for these two days.

Accessibility to the Workshop venue and the opportunity to participate in roundtable discussions and abstract and poster presentation sessions where attendees will share their discoveries and experiences on how to face and better manage the growing prevalence of age-related disorders that develop as a result of HIV. An online abstract book will also be sent to your email prior to the event.
